Reclaim are investing a lot of time and money into securing the use of recycled tyres into new bitumen for our roads. This procedure is used in a small way currently however we believe the only way to re use all of the old tyres we produce ( this figure is roughly 1 tyre per person per year approx 20M per year ) is to commit most or all of it to road surfacing or repair. Reclaim will continue to pursue this outcome for the benefit of our future.

Please speak to your local member of parliament and ask them what their stand is on the environment and this issue in particular, within their constituency. Old tyres and what to do with them is a major issue and one that current practices are struggling to deal with.
